Private Golf Clubs
This will be the top clubs in the desert. Most will include custom homes, semi-custom homes and builder developed floor plans. These clubs will require a membership to use any of the facilities. Some examples will include, Andalusia Country Club, Bighorn Golf Club, Madison Club, PGA West Country Club, and Vintage Country Club.
Semi-Private Golf Clubs
This clubs will often have more than one course and will have the option to have the public play some of the courses. Because they do not rely solely on the homeowners to carry the operating expenses, memberships are considered a better value, especially for the occasional golfer. Most will offer limited gameplay without a membership. Some examples will include, PGA West Country Club, Mission Hills Country Club, and La Quinta Resort.
Public Golf Clubs
Public clubs are found in all the desert cities, and they offer several floor plans. Some will have one builder only, and others will have multiple builders and architecture styles.
